Our lab is located on the Parnassus Campus, in the Health Sciences East building.
Postdoctoral fellows
The Ricardo-Gonzalez lab welcomes applications from postdoctoral candidates with strong backgrounds in immunology, cell biology, or microbiology. In addition, candidates with backgrounds in genomics or bioinformatics who have a strong interest in studying tissue physiology or host-microbe interactions are also encouraged to apply. Please get in touch with Roberto with your general interests, the type of research you would like to pursue in our lab, and a summary of your prior work. Include your CV and contact information for three references.
Graduate students
We are part of the UCSF Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program. UCSF graduate students interested in rotating through the lab can e-mail Roberto directly to inquire about research projects.
Undergraduate students/Research specialists
We encourage undergraduate and post-bac students interested in exploring research careers to contact Roberto to discuss summer, academic-year research, or other formal job opportunities in the lab. Include a copy of your CV or resume and a cover letter that explains your prior research experience, relevant coursework, and an estimate of how much time you plan to commit to the lab.
